Science AbLib - a new monthly science radio segment!

Ok so this new radio segment is a few months old now….

Back in February myself and fellow PhD student Olivia (Libby) Rowley started a regular segment on ABC Far North Queensland as part of the Phil Staley show. Our segment is called Science AbLib and every month we chat about everything science, from what we’ve been up to with our PhDs, to science communication, to world wetlands day - we cover local science and much more! Every week we have a guest on to talk about their work and research, sometimes in the studio and sometimes on the phone. So far we’ve been able to chat with some really interesting scientists on a variety of topics including mosquitos, mangroves, spiders, whales and educating kids at home in the time of COVID-19.
